Today I sent off a card only to realise I didn't write the full address on the front. Also, on the back of the card I wrote "From: Gorgeous". I'm anticipating awkward suspicious looks from the postman if the card comes back to me WTF.

I was reading Hui Wen's latest blog entry about how much she's changed over the years (she's damn hot now la!!) and it made me think about how I used to look like too.. I went through some old pictures only to realise that parents really do love their children unconditionally.

Hi everyone!

So today I got an email from my sitemeter telling me that on average 25 people still visit this blog everyday. You won't believe how touched I am, guys! :') Which is why I decided, yes, I shall ease back into blogging.

Now that work is over, copykatie.blogspot.com can once again be active.

First things first, I do have to let you guys know that although I do still have bimbo moments galore, my work experience year has really made me grow up in many ways. I'm starting to take more of an interest in the world beyond my hair, my clothes, my shoes, my bags, etc. It's a big place, there's so many cultures and practices to learn about.

Also, I do not still procrastinate on assignments by blogging (no i dont no i dont no i dont. that webpage open to my business simulation? THAT ISN'T IT! ... Ok it is. I guess some things don't change) :D

I had such a great time with my family, being spoilt by Daddy (who bought me a freaking portable air-conditioner for Melbourne summer - if that isn't love I don't know what is) and Mummy, gossiping at night with the sisters, eating Mummy's yummy cookies that she brought over for me, taking them out to all my favourite places and buying clothes for all of them :)

I miss them so much already! I hope upon hope the Paris in May plan happens :)

We get so exasperated with Mummy and Daddy for always having this signature unchanged pose for the last thirty years, such a lack of creativity wtf.

It's strange how when I was a bit younger I used to call them Mum and Dad, and as I grew older, instead of drifing apart from them, I grew even closer to them (which I didn't think was possible given how close we already are), and now I feel like a little girl of five again, talking in a baby voice to her Mummy and Daddy. :)

This was the only day that we bothered to get dressed up and put on makeup, so outfit pictures were in order :)

When this dress arrived from Gmarket, I was at work and my senior who sits next to me demanded that I open up the box so he could see the dress. He then declared the dress beautiful, except that the colour reminds him of ghis grandma's bloomers. T_____T So you can see why I felt emo WTF.

My bread addiction is still going pretty strong, but at least now I have downgraded from pineapple buns and coconut bread from Maxims to Helga's Traditional Wholemeal grain bread wtf. ;)

Thanks to the beautiful day known as Australia Day, today was a public holiday, so I got a much needed rest (and those buckle dominatrix-like shorts I've been wanting from Bardot). Will be seeing Prim on Friday, hopefully she'll take me somewhere I can meet a cute guy WTF.

Last family dinner from my trip home!

My lovelies! I can't wait to see them, I'm seriously so very very excited beyond belief :D

One thing I realised I've missed was sitting in the car with these two and breaking up their squabbles WTF.

My favourite cookies in the whole wide world, lovingly baked by Mummy :) She normally only makes them for CNY but at the time they hadn't planned to come over, so she made a whole batch just for me, nom nom nom. I'm reminded of one of the many reasons why my Mum is the best mummy ever.

Also, everyone who's tried her chocolate chip cookies agrees she can put Famous Amos out of business wtf.

And, er, my favourite person in the whole wide world wtf ;)

We teased Daddy so much because he looks so black and sunburnt in comparison to the rest of us. It's due to his habit of spending an hour sweeping up the leaves in the garden every morning WTF. Now that the new maid has finally arrived I hope my Daddy will stop looking so much like a Bengali hahahahaha.

Yenn suddenly burst out laughing when we were halfway into our meal, and exclaimed for me and Hsuen to look at how cute Mummy and Daddy are. Apparently Daddy took a piece of dorayaki (yes Doraemon donuts, they were so yum!!), broke it in half and offered it to Mummy. Omg so cute, the two of them sharing a mini dorayaki wtf.

We went to Melaka because Daddy insisted on taking us to Sibaraku, this oriental buffet restaurant where he claims I would get to try the best fish I've ever tasted in my life.

The fish was pretty damn good, and as proof I attach a photo of the girl who hates fish, EATING FISH! *gasp*

I think I've realised that I actually do like gymming now. I love the sweat I work up after a good run on the treadmill and elliptical. I love how I can just let my thoughts run wild and listen to my favourite music without having to keep track of time for my timesheets at work.

Photos from a random family dinner out, the first one we've had with all of us together since early last year.

Seeing that our new maid hasn't arrived yet, the family has been eating out lots :) It was just a normal dinner (with too much food as usual wtf) but I told myself to treat my trip home as if it were a holiday, and to snap lots of photos. I'm glad I did cause my trip was so short, and now that I'm back here (alone T___T) I can reminisce and look at the photos I've taken, every single one of them :)

Sher accidentally on purpose negelected to tell Chong where we were going cause we didn't want him intruding on our girly time with his womanliness WTF hahahahahaha.

But it was good when he arrived because we finally got a photographer ;)

Some photos from my first day back home. This was the longest I've ever gone without seeing my family, almost a year, so it made me doubly glad and excited to see them again.

I finally reached my target weight right before I left for Malaysia........

I convinced my parents that Japanese food was a good idea for dinner, so we headed to Sushi Zanmai at 5.00pm to have dinner wtf.

The food was pretty good, nothing to shout about, but the service seriously leaves a lot to be desired considering there weren't that many people at the time.

It's okay, leaves us more time to camwhore wtf ;)

Hi guys,

I realise that I have not blogged or locked my blog since before I left for Malaysia. Back in Melbourne now, sitting in my dreary office at my dreary desk in my dreary chair.

Will be alone here on CNY. Cried buckets when I left my house in Muar :(

On the bright side, Dad is organising a family trip to Paris in June, so I'm saving my annual leave to go meet up with them then :) Val d'Europe! Eurodisney! Eiffel Tower! Arc d'Triomphe! Versailles! The Louvre! :) Designer bags galore :)

I can't wait till then, and till I see my family again. It was such a short trip home that I didn't get to see everyone I wanted to see, but nevertheless it was a good holiday. Got a chance to rejuvenate and regain some semblance of my old fun self pre-work again :) Just need to tough it out for the next six months, and then I'm back to freedom.

I've also been cooking Korean dishes to save money! Haven't spent money on food for awhile, unfortunately all the money seems to go to shopping WTF. I made dukbokki yesterday, and today's meal was naengmyun with gyu tan YUMSSSS :)

I think the time has finally come. I know I've said that I want to make my blog private a few times in its lifespan (four years and counting baby), but for now I really do want to make it private. Some of the reasons being I want to talk about my kim moh freely without having him stumble on my blog through Google wtf. There's a fantasy playing in my mind right now. I see a boy with sparkling blue-green eyes, the kind that changes colour in sunlight. His boyish smile catches me off-guard and I feel my heart all aflutter when his lips stretch into a grin. His hair is the soft silky kind you want to run your hands through. He will kiss me on the nose and tell me how happy I make him. He will hold my hand and run barefoot through the grass at Fitzroy Gardens with me. Everytime he turns to face me I feel as if I'm looking at him for the first time. He holds me safe in his arms and I feel nothing else in the world exists. We smile at each other with knowing grins, the kind that comes from being in on a secret that only both of us are privy to. He also loves Harry Potter and we spend long hours debating the usefulness of a Horcrux. Whenever we catch each other's eyes from across the room, we look away, but almost instantly are drawn back to one another. Its a magnetism I can't explain nor understand.

Its also a fantasy. A good one. :)

It was such a nice day today. Fucking freezing yesterday but Sher and I sifat han-ed and went out in shorts. Caught an exhibition at the State Library which makes us sound more cultured than we actually are cause it was an exhibit about the history of shopping wtf. Jean and I went to Misty's yesterday for some wet fries and gravy and oreo and white chocolate thickshakes, super yums! Because we were under the influence the fries tasted a-fucking-mazing. And today I just Starbugseeuuuuuu-ed with my Chongy and went for a walk around the city, ending up at the Yarra River with Sher Bear. So great sitting with my two bfs :) And the weather was nice too. Going out for Passionflower icecream with Nana in a bit.

Oh and Shopbop is having a further 20% off. There's USD1010.10 worth of items in my cart right now which Chong thinks I should buy cause it's 10.10.10 today wtf.

I'm completely obsessed with my new high-top sneakers that I bought from Big W just now ($29.74, WIN!). I got them on a whim cause I was listening to way too much 2NE1 while on the treadmill at gym, so I decided to head down to Big W to see if they had cheap Park Bom knockoffs wtf. Purposely made another trip to Safeway just so I could wear them out haha. LOVE ♥

And btw, please do not judge me for getting fatter. I put on two kilos from our three days at Great Ocean Road omggggggg two kilos two kilos two kilos argh so sad. But anyway, thank you Sher and Nana for coming on the trip and sacrificing yourselves and gaining two kilograms too just for me, it's the bestest birthday present ever, lub lub lub lub!! :)

...Okay, no, not really.

Sher and I made a little trip down to Melbourne Showgrounds today for The Royal Melbourne Show! Can you believe that I've been here for four whole years and have never once been to the Show? Thank you Sher hunny bunny for coming with me, and going to see sheep and cows with me despite the vomit-inducing smell of the livestock pavilion WTF.

Before we went to the show, we went for a cut and colour at Sui. My hair was so happy-fied today because it hasn't been cut or touched by anyone aside from me (lack of boyfriend WTF) since I got back to Melbourne. This is also the first time I've gotten a haircut in Australia, due to my intense fear that my hair will be butchered. But since I'm in my Korean phase right now, I decided to leave my hair in the hands of Harry, my gay Korean stylist :)

Hello red hair! :) I showed the colorist a photo of Park Bom's hair colour and told him that I wanted to look like her. I then produced a photo of CL's hair style and said but I want my hair to be like this. Super demanding WTF.

But I'm really happy with how he cut my hair, it's gonna grow out to look as nice as CL's in the video, and the colour will fade to a coppery brown, exactly what I wanted :) Sher thinks I should keep bangs though, what do you all think?

Had so much beef you wouldn't believe it. I bought minced beef and just stirfried it with broccoli, one of the most enjoyable days of my diet so far hehe :D

For dinner, I cooked a little bit more minced beef and dumped it into my cabbage soup, so stuffed now!

Since tonight is the penultimate night of my diet, I shall try to refrain from Pocky/Tim Tams/Kinder Bueno/chocolate cookies/other poisonous items WTF.

I absolutely loathe tomatoes, so I made tomato puree and boiled skinless chicken breast pieces in the sauce, with rosemary, chicken salt and black pepper. It was surprisingly pretty yums, considering the fact that I absolutely didn't know what the fuck I was cooking. Had two bowls of cabbage soup as well, SO STUFFED NOW!

Okay, fine. I ate Tao Kae Noi tempura and a few sticks of Pocky in addition to my cappucino as well. FML.

So, I ended up not getting the Phillip Lim bag cause eventhough I really love it, Mom and Dad just got me a new bag and I don't feel good spending that amount of money so soon after they bought me the Marcie. Even if it's my own money and not my dad's that I'm spending. It's just not worth it having two weeks worth of pay fly away just like that.

But anyway. I ended up getting a Claude Maus men's checked shirt, some pretty jewellery, my GD Cotton On tulip top huehuehue and $170 worth of Dior skincare. So frugalism is a bit of a fail wtf. In my defense, as I told my dad on the phone, what's life without good skin? :)

OMG. Day Three was an epic failure. After two days of deprivation I caved and ate chocolate biscuits since it's chocolate biscuit Friday at the office.. Why waste free cookies right wtf.

Lunch with the boys was depressing cause I had minestrone soup with garlic bread but they stole all of my garlic bread, allegedly to "help" me follow my diet. James was supposed to study for his CA exam this week, so Michael, my senior, had to make a dig at me T____T

James: I have a party this Saturday to go to.
Michael: You can't. It's just like how Katie can't eat anything except vegetables, you can't go out.

My boss today, a senior partner in the firm, walked past me and called me cabbage.

And then after gymming today, I followed Yang and Chong to dinner at this Indian restaurant, where I was an epic failure and stole their briyani and roti sigh. :( Day Three officially declared a FAIL.

But Katie will persevere! :)

Anyone who knows me will know how torturous Day Two is for me. Vegetables to me are icky things wtf. Of course, my most hated veges are beansprouts. Seriously, who invented that shit?

Anyway I had broccoli, mushrooms, cabbage and pakchoy stirfried with miso paste for lunch (no butter no oil FML). And yes I caved and had a cookie T__________T

Dinner was cabbage soup and boiled sweet potato. I am actually REALLY stuffed right now.

I think the whole point of this diet is to get you to like vegetables, but sadly it does not work for me. :)
